Take My Hand...
These are my favorite kind of pictures.
I know that everyone with a small child must have a shot like this in a box somewhere. There is something so sweet and symbolic about watching a grown man hold the hand of a child. It's a different kind of hand holding than what a mom or grandmother does. Mom's and Grandmom's grab hands to make sure their babies don't fall down stairs, run into traffic or to get them come into the kitchen to eat dinner. But father's and grandfather's take hands to show something or do something. They take little boys to see the "Tractor!" or little girls to swing on the hammock. They hold hands to lead the child to learn or most often ....to get into trouble.
We have officially returned from our whirlwind trip up North. The wedding was beautiful and fun! We stayed right on the water in South Dartmouth. Lily and Dylan frolicked in the sea air and watched their Uncle Andrew marry Auntie Kara and they were the cutest little couple in attendance ( besides the bride and groom of course).
