Today is "hospital day" at craig's school. This is sort of like a college fair, but for rotations and residency programs that he can apply to when the timing is right. Unlike a college fair when you're in high school, which is honestly just a day off from school with a bag full of brochures, this day seems REALLY important to the medical students. It will determine WHERE they live, WHAT they do, WHO they meet. All of the students are dressed up in their Sunday-best. The first years are still bumbling around in the stupor that Gross Anatomy places them in, but the 2nd years are determined and focused.
My husband is really leaning towards pediatrics. I mean its still early in his education and all that could change with a blink of his eye but every day he tells me something that he loves about the "idea" of being some sort of pediatric specialist.
I mean with a baby like this, how can you blame him?
