Reflection..
Recently, my three best volley-ball buddies have all entered the realm of motherhood at varying degrees.
Their brood consists of a 9-month old, a newborn and a developing fetus.
This has hashed up a lot of back and forth via emails and conversation about one of the most fundamental mother considerations....breastfeeding. The stories that we have traded are priceless. These are some of my most hilarious pumping/working mom moments.
Most Interesting Places I Had to Pump
1. Public Restroom by the hand dryer ( that was pleasant for strangers)
2. Single Bathroom with a line waiting outside for me. (knock, knock, knock)
3. Empty conference Rooms.
4. My Car (at a winery..the LENZ winery)
5. Airplane seat ( with a hand pump and nursing cover)
6. Locker room.
Most embarrassing Moments
1. Cleaning person unlocking my office door. (30 second earlier would have been a REAL show)
2. My colleagues knowing what the yellow sticky on my door meant.
3. A room full of people "Mooing" at me. ( that's a long story)
4. Pumping while my husband was driving and we were in traffic. No way to avoid the stares.
I could go on and on. 13 months of this and you build stories people!
