Every mother thinks their child is smart.
And i'm no exception.
Dylan has been able to recognize, say and periodically count the numbers from 1-10 for a while now.
But this morning he brought his genius to a WHOLE other level.
In between bites of whole-wheat waffles drizzled in honey and his cheesy scrambled egg he held up his "bwoo fuk" (blue fork) and with his tiny finger counted out the prongs "One, Twoo, Fee, four!" After he finished he looked at me with pride flooding his face and I cheered as if he had won the Boston Marathon.
This was the FIRST time my 20 month old connected numbers with objects!
I was beside myself excited and knew that a WHOLE new world of counting THINGS was in store for us!
What a smarty pants!!
