The sink

The sink is a source of much frustration and fun in our house.

Dylan LOVES to play with bubbles in the sink.

I have my own fond memories of doing this as a child,  so it's an activity that I want to provide for my son.

But I HATE being the parent on duty for sink time.

Because...it's messy.

It's filled with..."no, we don't eat bubbles."

and "Please don't touch the sponge"

and "Don't drink the sink water!"

You worry about him falling off the chairs or nose diving into a sink full of suds. Plus you are bound to get wet and at the very least it requires a FULL toddler costume change.

But I guess it's all worth it.

Because bubble sink time is a highlight of a long day!
