Festival Fun

This weekend we went to a Festival!

It was a Labor Day celebration at our "little park" and it was great fun.

Posing Under a Tree at the Festival.

It's funny how you get acclimated to where you live though.

I mean just over a year ago, this festival would have shocked me.

Unlike your typical urban festival, there were no "professional vendors."  They had all the typical food: funnel cakes, shaved ice, cotton candy, burgers, meatball subs....only served by Church groups.

Faith Temple Hot Dogs and Pump Springs Baptist Funnel Cakes!

Pretty much every church in the county had a booth and were selling food from crock-pots, backs of trucks, and old tables.

The "entertainment" was singing Gospel music. I heard the word Jesus at least 100 times!

Yet...none of this even had me batting an eyelash!

There were four wheelers to test out!

Bounce Houses to watch. ( Daddy wouldn't allow Dylan to actually bounce...MUCH to dangerous)

Choo Choo Trains to ride!

It was just another typical day in the South.
