Warning: Potty Talk

Potty Training has thus far been the most challenging stage with Dylan.

He has zoomed through every milestone and transition we have thrown at him.

Weaning from the boob? No problem.

Moving to Tennessee? Call him Davy Crockett.

Weaning from the bottle? Give me the Cup!

Big boy bed? Snoozing like a pro.

Pooping in the potty? No thanks, underwear is fine.

He is 100% pee trained. Wakes up dry pretty much every morning and from every nap. He is in underwear 100% of the time. But my boy WILL NOT deposit a poop on the potty.

We even have a "Poop Prize" basket. The allure of which is  simply not strong enough to compel him to take a seat and go.

I've decided that a big part of our block is that he really likes to STAND up and poop. Not just stand up on the floor but climb something high up and poop.

Like a coffee table or window sill.

Is that weird?

So we continue to fight the battle.

Trying to catch the slightest hint that a Poop is on the loading deck. Hoping that just ONCE he can achieve success so that we can sing and dance and make merry all in the name of bodily functions.
