Gymnastics

Dylan has started gymnastics.

That's not him in the picture.

It's a reenactment.

He loves it.

His class is called "The Birdies" and the age group is 10 months - 19 months. So far he's learned to tumble ( with a push on the tush by mommy); he is working on his "donkey kicks" ( hands down on the mat and feet go up behind him bucking bronco style); and he's learning sign language too! We've wowed his teachers with his sign for "more" ( except he SAYS More while he's signing, which defeats the purpose of sign language i'm sure).

He's one of the biggest kids and one of the only talkers in the class. This makes for some funny interaction with the other "babies".

See, there's a bully in the class...she's a girl with pig-tails. And she takes everyone's ball during "Ball-a-palooza" or butts in on all the equipment during free-play.

She's cute, but mean!

At our last class she was running around slapping the balls out of everyone's hands and unprompted Dylan ran up TO her with his own beloved ball and handed it to the little vixen.

He kept repeating over and over "Ball? Ball? Ball?"

As in...is this what you want crazy lady?
