Dylan had his 18-month appointment today.
First words out of our Pedi's mouth were..."Wow, what a BIG boy!"
Height - 34" ( 90th percentile)
Weight - 28lb (75 percentile)
Head - 19.5" ( 95 percentile)
He passed all the other screening with flying colors! He is advanced in all verbal areas both receptive and expressive. His mom and dad score HUGE points with our early bed time. And even his teeth are ahead of schedule.
The only concerning finding is Pseudostrabismus. This is an optical illusion of the eye. His left eye APPEARS to be slightly lazy and it could be because he has a broad upper part of his nose ( thank you mommy) but its' something we have to watch. As a 8 month old we had him evaluated at Children Hospital Ophthalmology b/c it appeared as if his left eye wasn't opening all the way...
Exhibit A
But everything came out normal...so now we just have to watch and hope that his eye muscles develop together at the same rate.
Other wise..
