Golden Gate

Tomorrow I leave for San Francisco.

Nana will be staying with Dylan. Last year, this was the business trip that was my first time ever away from Dylan over night.

This year it seems worse.

Especially, because he's so aware of when i come and go.

"Whatchya Doin Mommy?"

"How you day?"

I know that he's in good hands but I will miss him terribly.

I will probably call home an obscene amount and video chat until he's bored of looking at my face.

But what I will miss the most is when he grabs my face with his chubby toddler hands and says..."Hi, Mommy." at the end of a long day.
