Every day we have to drive by an Auto Zone.
You know, the store that sells all the things in the free world you could possibly need for a vehicle. A store that could not possibly be more boring to me. A store that I would avoid at all costs if my son was not absolutely obsessed with it.
It must have started while I was away on my last business trip. My husband, who incidentally, when he "plays on the internet" only knows how to look up cars, read about cars, or inquire about cars...must have introduced him to this store.
So now, every time we pass it my son PLEADS to go to "Auto Zone".
With desperate tears in his big blue eyes he cries, "Go to Auto Zone Mommy? Go In? Clean Floor?"
( not sure why he wants to clean their floor but I'm assuming that his father lets him do that in there)
So i constantly have to be the bad guy and tell him Auto Zone is closed. To which he replies...
"No MOMMY! It's OPEN!" So then i feel like a big fat liar.
In fact, i couldn't take the pleading anymore so my husband took him back yesterday and they stayed in the store for 30 mins asking him what every single thing within his eye level was.
"What's this daddy?" Holding up a funnel.
"That's a funnel."
"What's this daddy?" Holding up an oil pan.
"That's an oil pan."
On and on for a half an hour.....

I am on another conference call (and not paying attention) so i decide to cheer myself up with Dylan cuteness and clever & sweet blogging.
The comment of "clean floor" as a selling point to go somewhere-seriously that is so funny and cute all wrapped up! That phrase is going to stick with me. . .so cute.
hope all is well. today colette's sister maria is in labor with the baby and colette is desperately wishing she was there and she is a bundle of nerves. . those 8 cm better go fast for a healthy baby!
