Observations

Dylan is, what my friend Becky refers to as, a deep thinker.

Just a love tap, i swear!

And lately his thinking has been in over drive as he is constantly trying to figure out how things ACTUALLY work.

 Whether it's the light in the oven..."Mommy how does it know to go off?"

Or the dish strainer in the dishwasher..."Mommy how does it roll back in straight?

Even a ride on a merry-go-round at the mall requires an explanation of the gear above our head..."Mommy when that goes up so does our dragon?"

It's exhausting, because honestly, I don't CARE how things work! So he is consistenly calling me on my lame explanations.

Oven? "Oh, there's some sort of button" ....
Dishwasher? "um, not sure...i think it's on a track."
Merry-go-round? "ahhh...i'm pretty sure that's what makes us go up!"

I don't know how long my generic answers are going to last.
