I'm always reminding Dylan that he's being watched.
Not by Santa.
And not by me.
But by Julia.
As far as her world goes, her big brother is THE trendsetter. It takes 1.2 seconds for her to copy anything he's doing.
From an annoying sound to a complete jump off of a set of stairs. She just KNOWS that she can do everything he can do.
So far this has resulted in her scaling the outside of the staircase in the new house.
Jumping off their tree-house into my broken arms without warning.
Crying when he cries.
Trying to eat handfuls of pretzels.
Pretending to sneeze.
And being obsessed with spider-man.
Her brother is her bestfriend.
And it warms my heart to see them hugging and kissing when they think no one is watching. Each morning Julia wakes up ( usually last) and after her diaper is changed and I put her on the ground she pads her little way to go find Dylan.
And every morning she lays her head on his lap and says "Hi."
Which stands for: "Thank goodness you're still here, I love you."
